Contribution of relief aid following the Great Sichuan Earthquake disaster in China

Aid funds received from contributors reached 2,089,841 yen Thank you for your cooperation.
Thanks for your help, together with the contribution of 100 million yen from Nitori we have donated a total of 102,089,841 yen through the Japanese Red Cross Society.

The earthquake that struck Sichuan, China on May 12, 2008 sacrificed numerous lives and caused unprecedented damage.

Over the period from Sunday, May 18 to Sunday, June 8, 2008, the Nitori Group accepted relief funds for victims of this disaster at all of the Nitori Group’s domestic and overseas offices. These funds were provided with the warmest and sincere intentions of thousands of individuals.

We donated these funds through the Japanese Red Cross Society on Monday, June 16, 2008, which is using the rescue money to aid the stricken area.

In the future, Nitori will actively undertake various aid activities as part of its corporate philosophy of making a positive contribution to society.
