Q1 How do I open the power cord storage box on my kotatsu*.

Remove the top plate of the box. To do this, turn the kotatsu over and loosen the screws holding on the top plate. Perform this procedure in reverse to re-affix the top plate.
*A low table equipped with an electric heater. People sit with their feet under the table in Japanese style rooms in winter.
