About Nitori Gift Cards
Q1 Is the Nitori Gift Card rechargeable only once?
No. The card is rechargeable repeatedly, from 1,000 yen to 100,000 yen in units of 1,000 yen.
Q2 What can be bought with the card?
The card can be used to buy anything in any Nitori store throughout the nation, with the exception of items sold online (i.e, on Nitori-net and Nitori Rakuten Net Shop).
Q3 Where is the Nitori Gift Card issued?
The card is issued by all Nitori stores throughout Japan. (Please note that the card must be charged when it is issued.)
Q4 Where do I recharge the Nitori Gift Card?
You can recharge it at any checkout counter in any Nitori store. (Please note that only cash is accepted.)
Q5 May I use more than one card at a time?
Yes, up to three cards are accepted at a time.
Q6 Can the balances of more than one Nitori Gift Card be combined on one card?
No, they can’t. We cannot issue a Nitori Gift Card whose balance combines the balances of multiple Nitori Gift Cards.
Q7 Where can I confirm the balance of the card?
The balance of the card is printed in a receipt. Also, you can check it at any Nitori Store* or via Nitori’s web site. *Bring the Nitori Gift Card to a cashier at any Nitori store.
Q8 How can I confirm the balance of the card by mobile phone?
Access the following URL by scanning the QR code on the back side of the card, then enter the 16-digit card number and the 4-digit PIN*1 that are printed on the card.
*1You’ll find the 4-digit number under an adhesive label by lightly scratching it off with a coin.
Q9 Can I confirm the balance of an expired card?
No you can't. The expired card is invalid so you cannot use, nor confirm the balance of the card.
Q10 Do you refund or reissue lost or stolen cards?
No. Card that have been lost, stolen or tampered with are not frozen, refunded or reissued.
Q11 For how long is the card valid?
The card remains effective for three years from the last day of use, after which the card is invalidated and no refund will be made regardless of any balance.
Q12 Can credit be converted to cash?
No. The card cannot be converted into cash.
